Matrix Data Center Campus — Phase I Grading

This landmark project encompasses 392 acres of land and will serve as the foundation for a next-generation AI-focused data center campus, including eight data center buildings, internal roadways, utility corridors, drainage systems, and supporting infrastructure critical to long-term operations.

Project Scope & Execution

Phase I grading began in June 2025 and includes mass earthwork across the entire campus footprint, coordinated around three major public roadways—Trinity, Santinel, and Neo—that anchor and connect the development. The scope requires precise elevation control, large-scale material movement, and strict adherence to schedule and engineering specifications.

To meet the demands of this project, Moreno Construction has deployed over 20 major pieces of heavy grading equipment, operating simultaneously across multiple work zones. This level of coordination, manpower, and machinery represents a major milestone for our company and reflects our ability to execute at true campus scale.

Phase I grading is scheduled for completion in Q1 2026, positioning the site for vertical construction and utility installation, with power and data center operations projected to come online as early as 2027.
